Proving Cause is a Washington State–registered nonprofit that powers TFL MMA, in partnership with WarriorCamp. Together, we use live combat sports events to raise funds that directly support local and regional athletes — helping cover training, medicals, travel, and competition costs while keeping our gym and fight community thriving.

Mission

Our mission is to remove financial and educational barriers for combat athletes while using martial arts to make our community a better place.

We believe martial arts builds stronger people and stronger communities — giving youth and adults a safe, positive place to grow. Through discipline, hard work, and family-style support, we create an environment where anyone can thrive, no matter their background.

Growing our TFL platform is a major part of our mission. TFL has helped athletes from many different gyms reach the next level in their careers. We don’t just throw fights — we teach fighters the business side of the sport so they’re equipped to transition to the professional stage.

Beyond the athletes, we provide opportunities and resources for every role in the sport — referees, judges, commentators, camera crews, and coaches — giving them real experience and a place to learn and grow.

We share mentorship, resources, and real promotional support to help the next generation of martial artists, coaches, and professionals build their path forward. Our influence and partnerships with larger shows open doors for those ready to take the next step.

Vision

We envision a world where martial arts opens doors for everyone — not just fighters, but the entire community behind the sport. A place where athletes, coaches, referees, judges, commentators, and media professionals can all learn, grow, and succeed together.

Our goal is to build a strong, self-sustaining platform that connects local gyms, creates real career opportunities, and inspires the next generation to lead with discipline, respect, and purpose.
